you can order 4,500 live ladybugs on amazon for less than $20 what a time to be alive
I’ve done this. I poured them out all over my arms when they arrived.
Beautiful moment as ladybugs swarmed around me and flew into the air.
However I soon realized that ladybugs can bite.
Do they? I thought I got bitten by a ladybug I was holding in my hand once, but I was never sure.
Yes they definitely do! The bites aren’t that painful, but you certainly feel it when hundreds do it at once 🐞🐞🐞
u can order praying mantids too. supposedly the ladybugs won’t stay in your yard unless you let them out at a certain time of day and have some way of temporarily immobilizing them. i have read to fill a spray bottle with watered down soda and spray them as they come out to make their wings stick together for a while lol
Hey everyone! In some previous blog posts, I mentioned that I’m struggling with an injury to my drawing arm. Although I hoped that the problem would have totally gone away after more than a month of rest, it actually hasn’t, and I’m still struggling with it at this very moment. It’s actually been harder emotionally than it has physically. I’ve decided to go ahead and write a blog entry about it, not only to keep my followers in the loop but also as a cautionary tale to any artists out there who have not yet sustained an injury. If I had been more aware of the risks, maybe this would never have happened to me, so the very least I can do is try to help those who aren’t aware of the risks.
Hi! How do you paint that planes in 3D coat? I load my model but I can only paint on one side of the planes. What have I missed?
That’s just how 3D works, if you want to to paint both sides you’ll need to add more geometry. If you just want to see the same detail on the other side, you can do that in most 3D software/game engines. I forget if 3D-Coat has a two-sided option.
Hello there! I recently saw a post on your deviantart of a low poly model you made. I was wondering what modeling tool you used to make it? I want to do get into 3d modeling, more specifically low-polygon 3d modeling :^)
I use 3dsmax, but pretty much any 3d package works fine for low poly modeling. Blender is free and has everything you need to model, texture, and animate
